Twenty Sixteen

Putting together a 'best-of' post at the end of each year is almost an impossible task for a wedding photographer. How many photos should I feature? How do I choose my faves out of a whole year of incredible memories, people and places? Last year the process was just too much for me, I was overwhelmed with it all and chose to just look forward to the next busy wedding season.

2016 was a bit different - I was lucky enough to travel across Australia and the world to capture some amazing weddings and memories and it's totally inspired me to reflect on the year that was. In fact, between you and me, I was a little sad to see 2016 go - although it was a year of global uncertainty and turmoil, I had such an inspiring year personally that I wasn't quite ready to say goodbye. But here we are in the early days of a new year and I'm ready to look forward again, but not before paying tribute to some of the beautiful couples and adventures I had last year.

Big thanks to all my wonderful couples who chose me to document their big days, to all the insanely talented fellow photographers I met who are now my friends, and my close friends and family who continue to support me. You are all freaking legends.
